The muzzle of the pickup truck is also borrowed from the Prado, which gives some advantages on the road – in the rear-view mirrors, the chrome grille and headlights from the TLC Prado allow you to quickly clear the road. The motor spins freely up to 4000-5000 rpm, while you can switch from 2000 rpm. True, while running in more than 2500-3000 rpm, I don’t twist the engine. The cabin is quiet, you can talk without straining. Suspension front torsion bar, rear springs, generally harsh, bumpy on bumps, but when loading the body at least 100 kg, the car rides quite softly and speed bumps pass without slowing down. The borrowed chassis from the previous generation MMC L200 allows you to safely get out on a country road, the only thing
road tires are not very conducive to riding on loose surfaces, and a sufficiently large clearance (200mm) and blocking give extra courage when storming country paths. In addition, I want to note that the steering wheel "a la BMW" has an insufficient quality of the front plug, but the dealers quickly resolved this issue. In general, the quality of the interior is quite acceptable, sufficient for a car of this level, a "workhorse" without any frills, while the quality of the chassis, transmission and engine has yet to be tested. Again, the extended warranty up to 3 years (60.000 km), I hope, will give me the full enjoyment of the operation of this car, Huanghai Antelope.

A car, in principle, is not bad, I have had a whole year and the coolest thing is that there are no problems, only all the chrome is peeling off, I had to paint it silver, and in the salon where I bought the rust car, they sang all sorts of nonsense about the fact that they sprinkle it expensively with rheogen, although the cars themselves in the cabin are already with peeling chrome in places, but I personally didn’t have any problems with the running gear and the electric train, so if you buy this car, specify separately in the sales contract about the state of the paint and varnish and chrome surfaces. At the time of purchase, there were no other trim levels, but it would be necessary to take a more powerful engine and four-wheel drive. Although, to be honest, the patency in the back is not bad if you use the lock. And so in general – a normal working car, it has not seriously broken down yet, it carries loads, people too. Hello everyone! I decided to share my impressions about my car – Huanghai Antelope.

I have owned it for 2.5 years, now the mileage is 39,000 km, I will soon go for maintenance of 40,000.

In the entire history of ownership, the Antelope did not fail, there were no serious breakdowns. Faced with such problems as: chrome peeling off mirrors, radiator leaks. The chrome mirrors were eventually repainted at the dealer in the body color (not under warranty, which is a pity), and the radiator leak was fixed at maintenance under warranty. There were no more troubles.

I can say that the car, in my opinion, falls under a very good price / quality ratio, despite the Chinese assembly. I bought a car for 460,000 rubles with all-wheel drive: the cross-country ability is excellent, only the front-wheel drive is connected inconveniently, you need to get out and block the wheels, but there’s not much to break. In general, the car is very simple in design: torsion bars in front, springs in the rear with a self-locking limited slip differential, a body on a frame 7 mm thick.

I was also very pleased that the engine, gearbox and razdatka are manufactured by Mitsubishi, only as I was told in the salon, not Japanese, but Chinese, there seems to be a factory that Mitsubishi makes for China.

I really liked the equipment, it is the only one, but it seems to me that it includes everything you need: power steering, climate, leather, power accessories, etc.

Before buying, I doubted the availability of spare parts after the end of the warranty, but I was assured that the Antelope was made on the basis of the previous L200 and that consumables such as pads would fit from it. Whether this is true or not has not yet been checked.
